The Palavas-les-Flots Concert Band brings together more than 50 musicians under the conducting of Daniel HEBRARD, graduated from military music school of Marseille. Musical director since 1992, his skills and sense of human relationships have allowed the orchestra to become an instrumental ensemble of quality. He is assisted by Guillaume JUAREZ.

The President Jean-Pierre GOTTVALLES is actively involved in the organisation of the
Musical society and runs a dynamic Board of Directors.

The Concert Band works together hand in hand with the Music School of Palavas-les-Flots called François RICHARD and children of the primary school.

In recent years, the Concert Band of Palavas-les-Flots gave concerts as part of the Festival “Festival Terre et Mer” in association with the music of ‘La Flotte of Toulon’, the military music of Lyon, the music of the Foreign Legion and many other musical societies.

Through the years, the Palavas-les-Flots Concert Band has developed many musical exchanges and the band played abroad in the island of Reunion with the Polyphonia Orchestra, in Italy, in Germany, in Spain, in England and also in Portugal.

In November 2012, the Concert Band accompanied Jean RAFFARD, trombone solist player of the Paris Opera for the closing concert of the “Music For Ever” challenge held in Palavas-les-Flots.

The evolution of the Concert Band is very much supported by Christian JEANJEAN Mayor of Palavas-les-Flots, Arlette Coussy 1st Deputy, Jean-Marie GUlRAUD-CALADOU Municipal Councillor and delegate for culture, and the Municipal Councillors.

The services of the Harmony of Palavas-les-Flots whether in France or abroad are composed of concerts, aubades, official ceremonies and festivals.

The musical programme is varied including: classic pieces, French and international Varieties, Soundtracks, Paso-dobles, Marches and so on.
